Position 1: 

Job Title: Market Retail Cover (Cover period to be discussed) 18+

Location: Wilmslow Bakery 

Hours: Part time /  Wednesday - Sunday / 8am- 4pm (2 days a week)

Salary: £12.21 hourly

Start Date: Immediate Start 

Job Description: 

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly individual to run our bakery stall on a temporary basis. Your tasks include customer service, setting up and running the market stall, handling cash and card payments, and keeping the workspace clean and organised. We do one pop up at a business in the week on a Wednesday or Thursday, then every first & last Sunday of the month at a Makers Market. There's potential for every Sunday while we explore more market options.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Confident with face-to-face customers

  • Trustworthy and able to handle money

  • Comfortable working Sundays

  • Prior experience on markets is a bonus

  • A positive attitude

Position 2:

Job Title: Bakery Assistant. 18+

Location: Wilmslow Bakery 

Hours: Full time / Monday - Friday / 8am- 4pm

Salary: £12.21 hourly 

Start Date: Immediate Start 

About the Role:

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in the preparation and baking of a variety of products, ensuring high-quality standards are met every day.

You’ll be working behind the scenes in a hands-on role, helping with everything from mixing ingredients and shaping dough to baking, decorating, and packaging products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about baking and eager to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily baking, including mixing, filling, and rolling cookie dough

  • Operating ovens and other bakery equipment

  • Preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately

  • Decorating and finishing products such as brownies & dessert pots 

  • Packing and labelling baked goods 

  • Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen

  • Following food safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow recipes

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
